Isn’t it about time Vaughan gets a home show? Well, make sure to mark your calendars, because we’re bringing the first home show to Vaughan with the Vaughan Home Show at Improve Canada! Everyone is invited so we hope you join us! Parking and admission to the home show are FREE.

Friday, May 4 to Sunday, May 6, 2018.

Improve Canada. 7250 Keele Street, Vaughan, Ontario, just south of the 407.

What is it?

The Vaughan Home Show is sure to be a can’t-miss event for anyone looking for inspiration for their next home renovation. All of the innovative new trends for kitchens, bathrooms, design, furniture, and more will be on display. 

There will be informative seminars giving by well-known designers like Kate Davidson (Kate + Co. Design Inc.) and specialized home improvement groups like Toronto Home Club. There will also be plenty of live entertainment, food, demonstrations, and prizes to be won, like a $250 gift card to Improve Canada that will be given away at the top of every hour.

1:50pm – 2:30pm – Musical performance: Alfredson Reyes - Alfredson is a singer/songwriter from Toronto. He has participated in several singing competitions, becoming a top 20 finalist in an international talent show, a top 10 finalist in a Canada-wide singing competition, and was invited to audition for NBC's The Voice.

2:40pm – 3:20pm – Kristiina Roosimaa from KEI Design - what is Scandinavian design, all about HYGEE and how to create it.

3:30pm – 4:30pm – Ann Powell founder, visionary and guiding spirit of Home Healing Hues - what steps to take to turn a bedroom into a sanctuary and what healing/relaxing colours to use for a bedroom.

4:45pm – 5:45pm – Brian Lattanville President of Healthy Home Makeovers - Air purification, along with a demonstration and discussion about a Healthy Home assessment, water purification, organic bedding, and infrared saunas.

11:30am – 12:30pm – Rebecca Hay from Rebecca Hay Designs - How Designing for TV Translates to REAl Life Renos: After working as a designer behind the scenes on HGTV Shows, designer Rebecca Hay shares what she has learned and how to apply it to the real world of design. She will take you through her own learnings from working in Television and share her top strategies to managing any renovation.  If you're considering an upcoming design project, come see Rebecca to hear her own secret tips and tricks on how to make the most of your renovations without compromising on luxury, style or functionality.

12:45pm – 1:45pm – HanStone Canada Presents: Manny, Mike and Carlito hosts of the hit podcast “The Construction Life”

1:50pm – 2:30pm – Musical performance: Taylor Kurta. Taylor is a self-taught guitar player and vocalist from Toronto. Realizing a passion and unique sound, she became entrenched in the musical arts and attended Seneca to develop her craft. In 2011, she was awarded a grant from FACTOR (The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings) to produce her first demo CD called Wake Up. Just two years later, Taylor received another honour as the inaugural winner of Canada’s Walk of Fame/RBC Emerging Artist Music Mentorship Program. She received a cash prize of $25,000, performed at Canada’s Walk of Fame 15th Anniversary Inductee Charity Ball, and was featured on ET Canada.
